VirtueUpload Pro is a completely rewritten version of the VirtueUpload component. More stable Joomla! 1.5 classes and functions are used to make VirtueUpload a reliable uploadtool for your VirtueMart store. Costumers can easily upload mulitple files and images and add them to their order. Comments can be added with each upload. Uploads can be removed or edited after upload. The store-administratorcan set the number of allowed uploads for each product, and make uploading a file required. The uploaded files are transferred when they are ordered to the administrator via e-mail or FTP-connection. This makes VirtueUpload a complete solution for printing services!

I have bought this component a couple of months before. In the beginning I had a lot of problems including the component, but with some help from a friend I managed to get it to work on Virtuemart 1.1.6 and even 1.1.7.
To bad there is totally no support for this component, even not for the pro version. There are no developers or admins on the forum and support tickets will not be answered at all.
My advice: do not buy this component!

I both this component and is working with 80 %. I post on support 6 days before 3 x and no answer. After, go to forum and saw that one boy waiting for the same question 4 months. It is not normal. I also ask on support if need to pay more money, and no answer. I dont know, but if you by something its normal to have support. For component I would like to give 4 stars but for support, no stars.
VirtueUpload Pro extension worked perfectly for me.
I wanted to allow users of my shop to be able to upload documents, logos and prepress with orders they make and it works like a charm.
Support is also excellent. Value for money, definitely.
I must also say that I used wire transfer to pay for this extension because I couldn't use PayPal in my country. There wasn't any problem.

at first I had problem to configure it, I really waited for many weeks to have support to solve it. then finally I received reply and a very great support and now I solved the problem.
it's a very very excellent extension, right the extension that everyone need to upload image and attach it to every order in virtuemart.
I'm agree about other comment about poor support, but maybe it was caused by temporary problem at the service. now it' run very well.

I needed a module that would allow my customers to upload an image for certain products in my Virtuemart shop, after reading all the blurb on lots of options i decided to give this one a g, despite some negative reviews as it has the ability to ftp the image to another server which i need to do. The purchase and download was very easy and the upload and installation instructions precise and worked first time. The backend administration is very clear and easy to setup and operate. The front end is superb showing a thumbnail image once uploaded on the product, in the cart and on the order emails, this is terrific as it veryfies to the customer what they have uploaded and saves any dispute later.
This is a well thought out and well written extension which has made my life a whole lot easier, i would recommend this to any one who needs customers to upload images or documents (did i mention how good the document selection section is, you can turn on and off lots of different file types which is great for limiting peoples uploads. A big thank you to Blixie for this extension

Paid for the pro version and ran into problem during installation. Submitted a support ticket and a week later no response. Apparently I'm not the only one given the shaft,there were several others in the forum complaining as well. I should mention that they took my money immediately.
Have been trying the paid-for Pro version for a little while, recently ran into some configuration difficulties and submitted a support ticket. 8 days later no response, I even submitted a request through the main Bixie website offering to pay for support. No response from there either!
This module originally looked very useful but currently it is not functioning on our e-commerce site and is therefore useless. Am now forced to look at alternative solutions.
If you can get it working on your site - great, but if you need assistance don't bother.

I'm sorry for this experience. The support center has been down for some time. It is now up and running again, and your ticket has been answered.
Tried the free module, worked absolutely great. Decided to upgrade to the Pro version as it has the additional functionality I needed. 3 basic support messages and 1 week on and I'm still no further on upgrading. Don't waste your time with this poor excuse for a 'premium paid for' product.
My business/site could not run without this module. Its as powerful as the support you get from the good people at Bixie.
Absolutely INCREDIBLE support. Not just handholding but helping you understand how the module works.
