Simple to configure. I had this installed and ready to go in 5 minutes. Great plugin and free, I have tried paid plugins that do not function as well as this! Thank you

This is a MUST, but...

I think this is a MUST have.

I tried to contact the developer from the official website but it is in Russian and I cannot understand. I want to ask, any plans for a version from Joomla 2.5 ?

thanks and congrats!

Owner's reply: Hi! Thanks for your review! I'm very glad to hear that LoginProtector is useful extension! Unfortunately, I don't have time and resources at the moment to upgrade the extension to Joomla 2.5. But as soon as I learn new features, differences of version 2.5 from older ones, I'll try to upgrade the plugin.

Visitor account

Posted on 11 June 2011

This is great. Do you have a another module or plugin where it sends me an email or notification when someone logs in to their account. Not the administrator page. I am taking about the account that visitors make on the front page. Do you know any link where I can find that? Or any similar modules or plugins?

I also want to say thank you again. Keep up the good work.

Owner's reply: Hi, miladfathi! Thanks for your review. The latest version of Login Protector is 1.0.3 and it includes the feature you need. To monitor front-end users you must select "Yes" for the option "Enable front-end logon E-mail notification?" in the properties' page of the plugin and save your settings. You will be notified with the letter, as soon as user enters the front-end.

A Must

Being in the Military this is an absolute must as I can turn off the back-end while I'm away. I also have it shut off between during my usual sleeping hours - and in case you really absolutely must log in during this time it is possible to remove the plugin via FTP.

The only thing I would like to see is blocking/monitoring the front-end as well...if someone logs in through the front end and changes the password my site could be in danger.

Owner's reply: Thanks, Solrac! I will add the possibility to control the front-end in the nearest version of the plugin.

Great Plugin!

Hello, I downloaded and tested the plugin, and works as described, a good solution for many users who have the backend to control, thank you and success.

Owner's reply: Thanks!
