The support is very little. Tried to contact through the website and the contact form there fails.

Sad to say, this module is missing a lot.

It is a very good beginning, lean, effective, simple, but seems more like a developer module than a real module, ie. the configuration refers directly to tables, so nothing pretty with select boxes or any intelligence built in.

It also completely lacks some standard functions like "Module Class Suffix", which for example makes it unusable for my Joomspirit template.

Some features would be easy to add it seems, like filtering on which user groups should be included, ie. it's a simple extra sql query, but despite the fact that it refers directly to sql, that part seems impossible to achieve.

All in all, it seems more like a version 0.1 than a 1.0

Settings for mod_birthday

first determine what the databasetabel prefix is.

See global configuration server.

In this example we use 'Fax' of contact details as the data input for Birthday.

And the databasetabel prefix is: abcd

Basis options

Birthday Table abcd_contact_details

Birthday Column fax

Bday Table Unique Id id

Name of User table abcd_contact_details

User Table Unquie Column name

User table field id

Condition b.fax

Days before birthday 5

Days after birthday 3

Display Todays birthday 5

Display Upcoming birthday 5

Owner's reply: Birthday Table abcd_contact_details
Birthday Column fax
Bday Table Unique Id id
Name of User table abcd_contact_details
User Table Unquie Column name
User table field id
Condition 1
Days before birthday 5
Days after birthday 3
Display Todays birthday 5
Display Upcoming birthday 5

Hi, the image and the module looks nice, it installs without problem (j 2.5.6) but there aren't some documentation or instructions to use it. The tooltips that appears in the admin/module is insuficient and not clear for understand the mysql tables/columns use. I tried several ways and doesn't run nothing, just "no birthday found" message. Please the developer throw a lifeline.

Owner's reply: Hi
First of all tell me where you store the date of birth value , we have configure default joomla user date of birth .
