Google Maps API by Noxidsoft Module

I have made my life less painful by not using Lat/Lng addressing or API keys to add a single marker point of reference to a fully integrated Joomla module!

Do you need a simple Google Map renderer that is up-to-date with the most current API on offer without the extraneous and confusing implementation?

This is an improved version with CSS positioning and more parameters.

The module utilizes the Geocoding service from the offered API Version 3.

Module Parameters allow you to set:

* Building Address - Default: Toowoomba, QLD (No more Lat/Longs and API keys needed)
* Map Height - Default: 480
* Map Width - Default: 320
* Map Zoom Level (0-19) - Default: 12
* ---------------------------------------------
* Marker Icon (12 Choices) - Default: Home
* ---------------------------------------------
* Toggle Search (on/off) - Default: On
* Toggle Search Button - Default: Find
* Toggle Top or Bottom (Top/Bottom) - Default: Bottom
* Toggle Left / Middle / Right - Default: Middle
* ---------------------------------------------
* Toggle Map Controls - Default: On

Advanced Parameters allow you to set:

* Module Class Suffix

Enjoy! If you really like it, don't forget to come back and write a review ;)

Just so simple, a trained chimp could get this installed and working.

Enter the address, size you want the map to be, zoom level, choose a marker type, couple of other parameters. Done.

Many thanks to the Toowoomba guys.

I tried EVERY googlemaps module. This is the one that does the work perfectly.
Is there a way to remove the "map, hibrid, satellite" listing ?
Thanks for this simple and great module !

Follow the thread that Innocence and I had about removing the "map, hibrid, satellite, etc.." map controls.

http://noxidsoft.com/develop/forum/5-google-maps-improved/24-solved-remove-map-list-possible-.html

All current and future versions will have a parameter to turn them on or off.

No key, no longitude, no latitude... simple and easy. Just put the address, the height, width, zoom level and that is.
