Mobimaps ComponentModulePluginLanguage

Mobimaps uses the Google static maps API to create maps with clickable markers, without the use of Javascript, so they should work on most devices. You can use different map-sizes and stylesheets for mobile browsers and normal web browsers. You also have the possibility to zoom and pan the map using buttons below the map. The plugin also supports different marker colors for articles in different sections or categories. More features:

* In the article manager you can set the location of the article (Point of Interest) by clicking a map, enter an address or the geo coordinates.
* The user can specify it's location (now even retrieve the location automagically using geolocation api) and then sort the articles in distance-order, north- to south, etc. Of cause the users location also show up on the map along with the other articles (POI:s)
* Show/hide layers of information on the map, for example: Public Flickr images and articles from other sections or categories.

This extension is compatible with our mobile templates MobiView and MobiVisit, see documentation link above.

Having tried a number of different mapping controls unsuccessfully I knew when I saw MobiMaps that I was onto a good thing. I had some problems with install and received excellent speedy help from the developer and it's now working perfectly.
Highly recommended extension for mapping!!
