Another great extension from YooTheme! Easy to set up. It is so nice to be able to provide directions from any location without opening a new window or tab & without your visitor leaving your site. Gives your site a real Web 2.0, interactive feature! Great to add local points of interest, hotels, entertainment etc.. to your map. Well worth the YooTheme membership for the high quality YooTools & templates! Thanks!!!

I'm using also Yoomaps beside other Yootheme extensions and I have to say, great stuff. I can concentrate me at my job at hand and don't have to bother with to much details. The only wish I have, as you use the artikel title as GEO coord., is that there would be a other way to identify the artikel. But that is a nice to have.

YooMaps is really a very nice component when it comes to mapping services. But one big problem is the support:

First of all you have to become a member of the yootheme template club (at least 3 months) and then the support on the bulletin boards is very poor. :-(

Every other component "for free" has better support than this one ...

I totally agree. I found it really easy to set up this module - and it works perfectly. It's so neat to provide your clients a map with a route planner that they already know how to use from Google maps... this really comes in handy.

An excellent little module for placing Google Maps on your site.

I have tried many, including just doing it by hand using Google's API, but this one makes it extremely simple!

Definitely recommended!
