It worked as expected and I've had no problems yet. I did forget to enable it at first so be sure to enable the module.

In the out of the box version you can only add 3 markers. the tooltip reads something like "Contact author to add more tooltips"
You wont find a demo, screenshots or documentation on the author's website.

This module works perfectly! The poster that said he couldn't make it work on two instances is wrong. I installed it and then put my API key in the module paramaters and published it and that was it! It was working.
I would be interested to know if the author is planning to bring out a component version?
