This Joomla! 1.5 component allows you to create an eye-candy photo gallery within your Joomla! website. It uses the phpFlickr libraries to connect to the Flickr Web Servers and the lightbox and instant scripts to obtain cute graphic effects. The project is now in stable version. Please, refer to the Project Home Page for information about install.
Version 1.0.4 Stable changelog:
* Fixed File Inclusion Vulnerability
Version 1.0.3 Stable changelog:
* Php4 support added
* Component now works even if Joomla is not installed in root directory
Version 1.0.2 Stable changelog:
* Fixed a bug in album visualization.
Version 1.0.1 Stable changelog:
* Fixed the include path problem for Windows systems.
This extension is beyond useless. First, it's not all inclusive. You have to go to the website and download two other zip files and add them to your template, then edit your template. And second, once you've done that, your site won't load. At least mine wouldn't.
And even if it would have, the extension does not allow you to feed photos into an existing page or template -- it's designed to create its own page, of all of the Flickr sets from a particular username. Not at all what I'm looking for.
