Well I see a couple of people have mentioned crashes but I absolutely see no problem. I was looking for a Twitter feed mod that would work with my template none were able to deal with the semitransparent css in the modules. Yours did for that I give you excellent. I tried many and none worked all did what they said except working with my css. Your mod is clean and easy to use works very well as far as I can see. No complaints here, and much appreciation for writing a mod that can handle the pressure of high ended templates!
First, I want to say that I very much appreciate the author creating this free tool.
I have used this module before with no problem, but today I installed it on my site running Joomla 1.5.22 and it crashed my entire site. Once I removed the module, my site was working just fine. I found a different module that worked perfectly.
I'm assuming it's a compatibility issue, but just wanted to give this feedback in case someone else is trying to use this with the same version.

Works, but only after altering the php-file of the module manually. That should be explained better in the support forum of the module (also, registration doesn't seem to work there? I tried to post questions there.)
It really lacks the date of the Twitter updates. The module seems not to be under development anymore.

Simple to use. Sets up easily. Nice password feature to allow private twitter sites.
All I would like to see is the tweets time stamped. Add that feature and the ability to theme it a bit and this one is gold!

I have used Easy Twitter Status on both of my sites. I have used this mod for 3-4 months before reviewing. I love how easy it is. I can have my Twitter updates on a page in less than a minute.
The down side to this mod is the lack of padding or spacing around the avatar. I like to display my avatar next to the tweets to tie my brand together. When the tweets show on the site the text is extremely close to the avatar.
For most the ease of installing will outweigh the cosmetic limitations.

I would have given this module an excellent status but there is one thing that I noticed another person has this issue as well. Lately it's been disappearing offline on my site leaving an empty area with nothing in it. This means I have to go find another twitter module. However, I can still say (depsite this thing has not been updated for almost a year!!) that it's still a pretty good module. Just need to solve that issue of a disappearing tweet.
The issue that I have with Twitter modules is how often Twitter goes down or slows down, leaving my clients with an empty Twitter module.
This is the only one I've found (and I've tried 1/2 dozen) that has both a timeout feature (for when Twitter is slow) and a configurable fall-back "nothing to display" message. Perfect!
My only quibble is that I always end up changing the css/formatting. It would be nice to have a choice of themes.

exactly what I was looking for. I tried several others and had problems. this one was a snap - thanks very much.
Easy indeed! Less than 5 minutes, nothing fancy, just shows your twitter updates, and the twits you follow (as an option)! Sweet!!
I barely know how to use Joomla efficiently, but installing and setting up this module was easy.
I love that you can choose various options in terms of how to show your tweets.
