Stalker is also available in Component & Plugin forms. Module version >= 1.0.0 is required to work with the component, however the Module will continue to operate standalone (as it does now) if you don't want to install the component.
The component extends the functionality in that you can now add any Social Networks that haven't been added so far. Additionally, you can re-order icons etc.
Stalker comes with approx 45 Social Networks ready to go, but you can now add any new networks you wish.
Stalker also supports iconsets. Now you can change the style of the icons to better suit you or your site!! There is also an Import/Export option for the Social Networks in the component. I'm hoping that users who've added new networks to the component will Export their list and email it to me so I can create a master list of Social Networks that others can import. No personal information is exported, it is ONLY the list of Social Networks.

Programming in joomla I have found all kind of extensions, almost all of them I have to manipulate them in order to accommodate customer's needs. It took me literally 6 minutes to add the blogger social icon which was missing and I did not used the database version. Very simple to use, very simple and understandable programming, yet very powerful. GO STALKER !!!
This social bookmarking component/module/plugin is just great. Easy to install and set up with loads of options and now with Google+ integrated means it all looks great.

Here's big praise for Stalker and equal praise for Nick, who went above and beyond for this total newbie. I'm building a conceptual social network site and this extension is easy to use and will help the membership and therefore contributions/content expand and grow as a result. It delivers as promised.:)

a suggestion for future development to target musicians with this software:
Is to add some mainstream music sales sites for musicians such as Beatport, Soundcloud, Resident Advisor, JunoRecords, Itunes.
or maybe to have like 3 or 4 more custom links with upload for custom icon, it would be really

Hi, thank you for the great review.
In regards to your comments about adding sites specifically for musicians, you can install the Stalker Component and it'll allow you to add any networks that aren't provided as standard. The Component will also let you set up 'groups' of icons, which can display in separate modules. It was actually a suggestion by another musician, where he wanted normal social networks in one module, and links to his music related sites in another module.
