I have searched A LOT for a youtube extension to display selected videos on my site.
This one extension is the most feature rich of all relevant non-commercial extensions and even beats many, rather most or almost all, of the commercial ones.
It does this without displaying any backlinks either, a strong plus.

It also offers many different styles/themes for the video.

I have nothing bad to say, so I will just take this opportunity to make some feature requests:

1) Ability to filter by keyword:
When you are displaying videos from playlists, it is nice to be able to get the most relevant ones...this is very useful for a news site

2) Ability to filter by date span:
In combination with the above requested feature, one can draw videos on a set of subjects within a certain period

3) Ability to pull keywords from article metadata:
Pulling keywords and using them dynamically as search terms in order to display from given playlists or from youtube altogether would make this a one of a kind "Related Videos" module

4) Define number of videos to be displayed vertically or horizontally, of equal dimensions (not proper video with thumbs and playlist)

5) Ability to open in jquery lightbox


Is this too much? maybe, but to my mind this extension is already on the right track...if the developer added these features, it would make JED history...

This extension is great. It has a very clean look and it is extremely easy to configure. I love the channel option. Displays the video and thumbs in a easy-to-view format.

Wow, what a wonderful module !!!!. I wanted to add a Youtube channel to my joomla site and it was a 5 min procedure. Great work

i've been searching for different extension that can display video's for my clients and i never, i mean never found one until today.... thank you for this beautiful extension.... keep up the good work

It is easy to setup, just make sure you read the manual, because do need to know how to obtain the playlist id, and check the setting playlist.

This is great module, thanks alot for your work, you should update the module here for people download, the lastest version is 2.0 may download from his support link .

When I first downloaded this I didn't notice that there was a link for the manual. So I installed without reading the manual and the popup tool tips were all I needed. Thanks very much for a perfect little tool. I'm going over to your site right now and donate.

Excellent! I'v configured it in 5 minutes(as i am newbie it's wery important for). It IS doing excactly wthat's in description nand looks wery cool and professional. It's working on IE8 and Mozilaa( i'v spent few days trying to find Joomla mod for you tube video but all of my attempts was unsuccsessful - some of mods was not working on IE8, some of them vere to hard for me to understand how to configure it). Now i am happy! THANKS!
