I have tried many extensions for youtube.Needed to eliminate the 'related videos' that appear when my video is done running. This extension gave me the option, and it worked perfectly.
Not only that, it's one of the easiest to use. Just copy the URL from YouTube and paste it in the article (no need to go into HTML or paste something like {youtube}link{/youtube}.
Like the title,'easiertube', it couldn't be easier to use. Great job, guys!

Having fought endlessly with some other You Tube carriers I thought this might solve my issues more speedily. For me, sadly, it didn't work as it had for others & I couldn't get it to work properly at all initially. However after putting up my query on their forum, I got a solution provided within 24 hours which is really superb in comparison to the support some other similar extensions are providing which quite often doesn't come anywhere close.
The guys will understand that's my only reason for bumping it down a star as the solution for my particular problem wasn't something I would have ever managed to figure on my own, and we've yet to track down a reason for it happening. Maybe just an anomaly of my personal Joomla setup or a conflict with one of the other extensions (more likely) - regardless, they got me sorted and that's the important thing, so I'd still highly recommend it. Thanks again guys. :))

I had been searching for an extension that would easily implement youtube videos into my site. After seeing costly extensions I stumbled upon easiertube. Being new to Joomla! I wanted something that would work as soon as it was installed. Easiertube not only worked as soon as it was installed but it gave me more options than any other extension I had looked at. If you are looking for a youtube extension easiertube is for you. Do not waste your time or money on other extensions!

This was the extension I was looking. Easy to use, no need of any Syntax. Just copy and paste the URL, that's it..
It's soOOOo easy! I consider myself an IT tech guy but really hate it when they make extensions with little or no documentation. This extension is so easy, you just play with it out of the box with little or no reading.
Wow would have got all 5 stars, very simple to use, install and enable, done!
BUT the border option has bug, my vide is configured to 500x400 and blue #89C1D0 color, the border shows fine at the bottom and top of the video but on the sides it is hidden by the video stretching on top of it.
Other than this, very simple!

Maybe is this a known problem but if i install the plugin en go to the page to adjust en enable it , i can't save the page, the only way is outside the page(plugin manager)en select the enable, is any one out there had a such problem?

Ok, so my site was nearly finished, but it was really close to bedtime. Or even a bit over time. Still not wanting to stop, I decided to go search for a Youtube player, to play my own Youtube uploaded movies on my site. Just search, to spare the hassle of figuring out how it workes.
The description on this one was so simple, I thought it could not be. Still, wanting to try it out I checked my watch and decided I have some 5 minutes left.
Turns out that was all I needed to download, install and configure the plugin, and publish 4 of my movies!
It really was THAT simple, and it worked like a charm right out of the box. No messing with tags between brackets "{ ... }" or anything. I could set the width and heigth to match my template, and away I go.
Not only that, But if I'm compelled to use video's from other sources I'm now allready prepared for that, because the plugin also caters for Google, Myspace and a load of others.
I'm stunned. This is nothing short of Great Work!

This isn't working for me. Installed and activated, but since there is no documentation, I wasn't sure which URL I'm supposed to use -- the full embed code or just the basic URL. If the latter, it didn't work for me. Didn't give it one star only because it's free. Sorry.

You were and are more than welcome to use the forum or contact me for help using the extension. These issues can be caused by conflicts with other plugins and or your template. So always best to contact the plugin author before leaving a 'review'
