Version 1.1 no longer removes title, author etc. from articles!
Have support for single videos, playlists and custom players, and the appearance/functionality of the player is customizable through various parameters.
The HTML output can be rendered as plain HTML (the default when embedding videos from YouTube) or as a mix of HTML and JavaScript through the SWFObject (http://blog.deconcept.com/swfobject/). The latter is recommended, as it removes that pesky “click to activate and use this control” from Internet Explorer, among other things.
Includes language support through .ini files (English, German and Norwegian included).

This is a GREAT plugin! IT is very easy to use and there are even some features to this! Great job!!
So simple - just like an extension should be! Easy set up with a good range of parameters easily able to be changed.
Would like the option (if possible) to locate the video left, right or center of the article it's in. The normal text formatting options in articles don't seem to work.

This is an easy plugin and does what exactly it says: "Embed YouTube Video"...
You can set the width/height/color.. But I couldn't figure out a way to word wrap the text around the Plugin until I wrote this in the Height text box {198" style="align:left;vspace:2;hspace:4;" align="left} without curly brackets.
It seems to wrap, but the vspace, hspace seems to get ignored... Anyway I can add this?

All I needed for my site was a simple clean way to pull in Youtube videos. This plugin was just that. It took less time to install and setup then it did to read all of the reviews.

This is a 'must have' for users wanting to add YouTube videos to your site. It is a snap to install and the end result is beautiful! I really appreciate the ability to display the videos in my playlist, not just a single video. Plus, the video thumbnails in my playlist are displayed in a very attractive and dynamic manner.
I am a neophyte setting up my first Joomla system. This plugin was trivial to install, and very easy to use. We now have two videos embedded in our pages--total time required was half an hour to convince myself this was the answer, plus ten minutes to install the plugin and put links into the pages.
No frills, perfectly workable, super-easy. I installed and immediately used it at 3 am on a deadline.
I'd love to be able to link a thumbnail image to the video, but that's not a fault of this extension, which works as advertised quite well.
