In the module administration, you can customize this module to your nearby location, so you can get the weather for nearly every city in the world. By using this module with stations in the United States, US Territories or Canada you receive a errormessage. Try for this area our NWS weatherforecast module!
Because of copyrights of Wunderground, you need in order to use this script:
1. Have your weather station submit data to WeatherUnderground as a WU member.
2. Use this script ONLY on your personal, non-commercial weather station website.
3. Leave attribution (and hotlink) to WeatherUnderground as the source of the data.
Adhere to these three requirements, and you should have fair use of this data from Weather Underground.
STEP-BY-STEP-INSTRUCTIONS
- Install this module as module in the back-end of your Joomla! site.
- Don't forget to publish this module at your prefered position, and customize as you need.
+ Findout your prefered weatherstation at www.wunderground.com, and make attention for your language.
+ Copy the complete URL to your module
- Specify the number of icons you want to show (depending your sitelayout and don't affect forecast of 7 days)
- Specify the with of the forecastframe at your site (depending your sitelayout).
(Here you can hold the 100%, but try by trouble the number of prefered pixels like '540px')
ATTENTION
The module cached the forecast information for 30 minutes local on your host to reduce dataflow to servers of Wunderground in (file: mod_WU-forecast.txt) When you change your location or language, you have to delete this one, or wait for 30 minutes... ;-)

This is an attractive, global forecast module which has become one of the top reasons people visit our website.
You get a long-range forecast that is presented in a way that makes sense: a "probability of precipitation" rating is far more sensible than making assertions that turn out to be wrong.

I wanted a simple clean weather module that did not look like all the others. This worked fine right from the box, loads quickly, and although it is easily configurable, the preset icons/display suited what I wanted. Recommended.
