I have no SQL / Database knowledge. Needed to remove a faulty plugin. Recommedations was to delete it from the table. Stumbled on to this impressive tool - installed it and solved by problem within minutes due to the friendly interface.

I'd give this 5 stars except for the small problem I had getting it to run. To be fair, my php.ini had short_open_tags = Off, and once change to On, it worked fine. However, it took me some time and effort to figure this out, and this could easily be fixed by the author by avoiding the short php tags (i.e.,

Easy to install, even easier to use. Exactly what I needed, although I have access to PHPMyAdmin, this just made the job of changing tables/data so much easier.

Only thing I was not able to do so far with this is actually deleting a table. Although, it has features like repair table and other really useful ones.

This tool saved my behind... I needed to fix a password on the admin and it worked... however, when I tried to change my personal account from Administrator to Super Administrator, it didn't work. Is there a good reason why this didn't work?

I would also be interested to see you guys develop a component to restore passwords when the db has somehow changed it, or even make this a neat addition to this component.

It makes accessing the tables & fields within your database easy. You can remove/add tables, fields, records, etc. Now you can maintain your database within Joomla instead of hosting server utilities. It can optimize tables, but you have to individually choose them, which is a pain. Also, you can't repair tables, which is a critical feature that is missing. Otherwise, a solid, worthwhile product for any Joomla! administrator.

Great component: a MUST HAVE if you don't have direct access to other tools like phpMyAdmin...

Improvements can be done, specially it will be nice to be able to edit the table structure (Alter table), without have know and manually input the sql query.

PU DBase Admin gives a direct view into all the Joomla! tables and allows me to quickly see how extensions have created new tables. Great Tool! Simple and Clean Install.

Everything can be performed in place, no matter external browsers with phpMyAdmin up to edit DB data. Optimization of tables included. Definitely worth a try.

Excellent Component!! My cpanel session expires after 30 minutes, and it's a pain to log back in since they do not give a direct link to myPHPAdmin. THANK YOU for this component (and the Arcade component...a site favorite!).

Between this and JoomXplorer I may never have to go into any of my customers CPanel or Plesk again! Simple yet powerful! You really need to add this to your must have list.

I found a conflict in this version with another component, however: Ircmaxell's Page Cache (version 1.0.6)

This has to be the BEST thing you could ever use on a Joomla! site.

I love the edit in place and ability to import/export data.
