OptimizeTables Plugin

Table optimization runs daily. Since version 2.0 it doesn't use any file flag to store last modification time. This time saved in plugin params.

Older version (for Joomla 1.0) can be found here:

It looks like this is working very good! I tried this on a testing system and it had positive result right away.... now I know database is optimized every day and I do not forget it to it manual. Thank you! I would like to see something of a report by email of the optimazation in the future, so we know what this plugin is doing...

I had lost hope about my site and was ready to start from scratch because of page load times until I installed this little wonder! There are probably other painstaking ways to do what this little plugin did, but if you don't have the time there is NOTHING better than this.

I thank you for a wonderful useful plugin!

UNBELIEVABLE and a Must Have!

For someone with no clue of mysql whatsoever this is amazing. My site has been running for about half a year now and i have sitestats component installed that creates lots of data. my db was 110mb. then i compressed all the data from bsq sitestats component via the backend of bsq sitestats components and my db was only 51mb. then i installed this little sweet bot here and ran it and suddenly my datbase was only 36mb.
That is just a great tool!
A brilliant idea, if only it worked correctly. It does optimize but the file date never changes, so it runs all the time and adds errors to my error log.

Since the homepage is in Russian, I posted here:

Very useful for sites with a lot people when used in conjunction with other methods of optimizing joomla!
