J!WHMCS Integrator ComponentPlugin

J!WHMCS Integrator integrates your Joomla framework with your WHMCS billing software. If you use the Joomla framework for managing your site, then your customers understand how frustrating having two logins can be, and as the administrator, you understand the frustration of updating module and menu content on your WHMCS site, or you have resorted to using an iFrame.

Version 1.5.2 has now been released:
* Support added for WHMCS v 4.1 stable
* Ability to redirect images and javascript links to alternative location
* Fixed functionality of update information procedure

Version 1.5.1
* User Manager in the backend of Joomla
* Find users to match accounts up from one to the other
* Break user matches in the event they were made in error
* Add new accounts to either WHMCS or Joomla if not already in system
* Group Manager in the backend for group functionality (multiple Joomla accounts can log into the same WHMCS account - intended for business clients requiring such)
* Sync Manager in the backend to resynchronize data from WHMCS
* Check Installation from within Joomla to verify J!WHMCS Integrator functioning properly
* New Authentication Plugin added to verify credentials in both system prior to logging in
* New Authentication Plugin allows user to login with either username / password from Joomla or the email / password from WHMCS, and proceed to both
* New Authentication Plugin can automatically create new users in either system if they don't already exist (can be disabled in plugin parameters)

Version 1.5.0 (initial release)
* Log into Joomla and you log into WHMCS simultaneously
* Changes the form on "dologin.php" automatically to point to login handler that logs into Joomla first then WHMCS
* Sets the session variables for both Joomla and WHMCS
* Logout functions logs out of Joomla and WHMCS simultaneously
* Parses a page on your web site and wraps that around the WHMCS content, needing only to change the header.tpl and footer.tpl to include two new smarty variables
* Sets the active menu item on the parsed Joomla page so it matches up correctly (functions only with non-legacy menu items currently)
* Requires no hacks of either system
* Variables for everything except one path variable is handled in the Joomla backend
* Allows a site to have their WHMCS as a subdomain or as a subfolder (so long as they are both on the same server)
* Password and info changes are reflected in both when made
* User registration form in Joomla to request all required info for WHMCS to create both accounts simultaneously

Steve has been great with responding to emails and helping us migrate to WHMCS. I usually avoid paying for plugins, modules etc...... But this one is well worth it!
This is an amazing program, but I must say that it is my hardest install to date and I have installed over 100 extensions. This is a serious component integrating two awesome platforms, Joomla and WHMCS. The owner Steven was VERY helpful and went over and beyond when I needed help.

The great part is that you are not using an iframe. Iframes will do the job, but what about the multiple logins and the looks? If you see how great this looks when done properly and the TOTAL functionality that it provides to a website hosting company you will never look back.

I've been with this extension and it really works great, and the service support really fast. never seen Extension like this before....

Great work Steven...Thank you Very much
We bought this software a week or so ago and have it running beautifully! Initially, we had a little trouble with the integration. Steve at GoHigherIS quickly traced the problem to another extension we were running on the site. He made a few changes and presto, we were able to run both extensions without problems. Great and needed software. Fantastic support! Keep up the good work!

Just like to say this is a great plugin. I have raised a few support tickets and they have been answered within the same day. Regular updates provided. Great work. The first component I paid extra just because I felt it was deserved.

Great work steve keep up the good work

I've been looking for a component to combine WHMCS and Joomla for some time as it's a pain getting people to register more than once and requiring them to login multiple times. The J!WHMCS Integrator allows users to register or login just once and they're logged in to both Joomla and WHMCS. It matches your header and footer for your website without using an iframe (which can cause problems with some WHMCS payment gateways) which allows total integration so you don't have to run WHMCS in a separate window. This component might at first seem expensive but in my opinion it is well worth it if you want to allow your users to login to both your website and billing/support system. Also the support from Steven has been exceptional, he took time to explain how to fix problems I had and released updates for the product within hours of raising a support ticket.

This product is really worth it if you use WHMCS on your Joomla website!
This is a great component to bring together two great products--Joomla and WHMCS.

I've been searching for a solution like this for a couple of years. I have tried to write my own JFusion plugin, and even considered using a different hosting billing software that had rudimentary Joomla integration (I'm not giving up my Joomla!!)

I ran across this new component and had it up and running fairly quickly. I did have a few questions and the author responded quickly and is very helpful (and patient).

As of this review, I am running Joomla 1.5.14, WHMCS 4.1.1 and J!WHMCS 1.5.1 which has a User sync.

For the WHMCS familiar, keep in mind that this uses your existing Joomla template to present the whmcs content (only modifying the header.tpl and footer.tpl whmcs template files) so all of your design and layout, modules, etc. are maintained in Joomla. You will want to strip some of the body css code from whmcs' style.css file to keep from overriding the Joomla templates.
