We used the EM Slide Show in the header of our website to rotate header images. It was easy to use and when we had a question, the support was great. They emailed us back right away. Excellent all around!!!
Just a quick note to echo the other reviews about the great service after the purchase that these guys did for me. Thanks Alex!
First of all, the responsetime for support must be mentioned. It's just greate.
And the ability to have pictures in categories was the biggest selling point for me. The site I'm using EM on has currently 4 different categories running. (www.hopsjo.no).
The site is driven by the users, and it had to be simple to use. And it is.
Auto resizeing is defently on my wishlist, since it created some problems.

I only write reviews for solution that provide either really good service or really bad service. This one is defiantly the former. Had a bit of a glitch with image transitions. Alex responded quickly and fix the problem by updating a JS library himself.
That's a new one for me! :->>

I've used a number of slideshow solutions and have considered writing my own component to simplify the management of them. Now there's no need. EM Slideshow provides me (and my users) with administrative control over the slideshow without having to use FTP, edit XML files, or worry about properties.
But, above all, EM Slideshow has outstanding support. My questions were answered within minutes and one particular problem was investigated and solved without any pushback whatsoever. I'm looking forward to implementing this component on future sites.

Does exactly what it says on the tin! There is a post below somewhere that said it didn't create the thumbnails, but I've not had that problem at all!
It's sensible to put your images into categories and then refer to them using the category ID (a number!) which caught me out for a while. But the support is excellent and we got it going extremely quickly!

This extension installs easily and does great and very elegant slideshows! The only problem I had in the beginning was a permission problem for the images directory on the server, so I was first not able to upload images.
But their support helped me within few hours and the problem was solved! Thank you, guys!

I had a few issues with the install because of some unique settings in our joomla installation. I sent a request for help and got a response within 1 hour, and within another hour they had logged into my joomla admin and resolved all issues.
Outstanding support and terrific product!
