The idea of using Bing API is excellent, couldn't install it on 2.5, had to unzip and re-zip the files for successful installation. Works fine
An outstanding module that is the perfect replacement for gtranslate.
There is an option for a drop down box or to display flags with a great range of languages to choose from.
The initial release had a bug but after a single email I got an immediate response from the developer and a fix the next day, very impressed and grateful.

I tried this Bing translate module because I have been having so many problems with other Google translators either loading jQuery and messing up other jscript on my site or having Google cookies mess around when returning to my own language.
This module is advertised as being J1.5 native. It installed correctly but did not display flags on the front end. The admin section shows error multilist field type not defined. Checking the module xml file and php code shows the code necessary for Joomla 1.5 to handle multilist field types has not been added.
Pity because the demo looks really neat using J 1.6 and I have heard good things about the Bing translate api.

Finally a real API translator from Bing.
A lot of developers are having problems with the google Api (on fly method) because google charge us around 1 euro for page translated. They sucks!
Your first version of this module it's really good for joomla 1.7, although it does not work for joomla 1.5 and it does not show list of languages on backed.
It shows:;
