I've been going down the list and trying almost all the translators offered here. I can only give this Mod one star because it *works*, but not as described here. In the backend, the list of to/from languages is limited and uncommon...or else I'm just not understanding it. Nor did I see an option to translate from English to Spanish, only vice versa. The flag icons never showed up for me, even after testing out Inter-Trans v1 & v2. I ended up with a text link in the module and when I click to translate it leaves my site and gets framed in Google's translator (bar across top of page) - contrary to what the developer states here.

It's been a while that i didn't update it.
This module _as described_ uses the google translation engine, and it hides the frame, well I should say it hided the frame, because from what I see now, Google must have updated theire system so the module couldn't hide the frame anymore... I probably should change the module description (right now) thanks for leaving this note.
For the other problems, it should be something else on your installation, leave my a note on the plugin page (http://isbkch.com/blog/2009/11/inter-trans-traduction-de-contenu-automatique-pour-joomla/) and i'll try to help you.

By far the best translator mod I have found on the JED, for one simple reason- it is the ONLY automatic translator I could find that sucessfully validates as XHTML through the W3C validator. That is an absolute must for me as I strive to make sure that all my sites are fully standards compliant. Some of the other mods here on the JED result in 60+ errors in their markup language.

Very easy after you read the FAQ.
I was not sure how it would work with my 1.5 Joomla but I ahve to say:
1. Instalation very easy and with no problem!
2. Users don't see the google bar over the web.
3. It's worth some lump but is for absolutely FREE!
