English (Australian and USA) Language Packs Language

These are English Australian and USA Joomla! Accredited language packs which includes Site, Administrator and XML install files.

These language packs rectify a Bing search engine region issue which sets Australian and USA Joomla 2.5.x - 3.0.x websites in the Great Britain region.

These packs will change your region from en-GB to en-AU OR en-US in your meta header which Bing uses to determine your region code. This is optimal for webmasters that wish to be located in the Australian or USA region.

*** One click admin backend update versions now available for versions 2.5v - 3.0v ***

Packs which are named with a version number IE: v1-v2-v3 etc now conform with the new Joomla! auto-update system for one click admin backend updates.

2.5.x - 3.0.x Users

To install: Australian 2.5.x - 3.0.x users

1. Download zip file
en-AU_joomla_lang_full_2.5.10v1.zip for 2.5 users. OR en-AU_joomla_lang_full_3.1.0v1.zip for 3.0 users.
2. Log into joomla admin backend
3. Select Extensions Manager
4. Upload zip file
5. Go to Extensions/Language manager
6. Set English (Australia) as default for both Site and Administrator

To install: USA 2.5.x - 3.0.x Users

1. Download zip file
en-US_joomla_lang_full_2.5.10v1.zip for 2.5 users. OR en-US_joomla_lang_full_3.1.0v1.zip for 3.0 users.
2. Log into joomla admin backend
3. Select Extensions Manager
4. Upload zip file
5. Go to Extensions/Language manager
6. Set English (US) as default for both Site and Administrator.

*Please note: Do not remove your 2.5.x - 3.0.x English (United Kingdom) language pack as this is required should you decide to un-install the English (Australia or USA) pack.

Please note: All 2.5.x - 3.0.x US translations packs are now created with the standard US Month/Day/Year format in the frontend site pack.

I appreciate that you made an American version. It's about time joomla finally has it. The only issue was finding it in the joomla code directory, but after searching on google I found it. Well done.
