This is very handy for sites in South Africa running in Afrikaans. Have to tweak here and there to switch between formal / informal vocabulary depending on the customer.
Also important to note that you would still need to tweak the language files for the various components, modules or plugins that are not core.

Works with 2.5 as well. Only JPAGETITLE="%1 - %2" needs to change to JPAGETITLE="%1$s - %2$s" in af-ZA.ini in order to display title on Afrikaans version of site.

Thanks for pointing this out - this is now fixed in the 2.5.1 release.
