Music Manager Component

Music Manager is an extension for Joomla! 1.5 and 1.6 which allows management of a music collection. It is easy to use and very flexible. Users can manage their music collection by artist, album and song. This component provides users with the ability to manage their music collection in a flexible and professional manner.

NB: Make sure that you install an MP3 player plugin (Such as JosDewPlayer) to enable 'inline' playing of MP3s. By default, the component wraps the MP3 filename with {play} tags - this can be customised.

* Add album art (front and back), creation year and description which can be displayed through the front end interface
* Add songs number and mp3 link to each song
* Add artist picture
* Easily translatable using language files

Album art should be uploaded to images/albumart and songs should be uploaded to images/songs. Artist pictures should be uploaded to images/artists

This plugin is good as i needed.
But there is a problem .i am not able to select a song in com-music-songs-menu.I have created images/songs and other folder also and placed songs in them also but not able to make a list as on clicking on select button opens a image manager and its not selecting mp3 songs.
Any help is appreciated

Good component, I'm using it for a band fansite. The only thing it lacks to me is the possibility to add lyrics for each song. I would love this feature to be added, thanks!
Multi-language support?

This component works well. But there is no multi-language support. Hope the author will add language files so I can translate it.

This component lacks another feature: uploader. FTP transfer is not convenient for each user, so an uploader is good.

this component and the additional album module is exactly what I've been looking for. the only thing I'd like to see is a way to attach the lyrics on the same row as the song. other than that its perfect

This is what i needed,
Users can download, and play mp3 at same page. I have been doing this manually for each mp3, but this component made my job a lot easier.
