Using this plugin along with with the WYSIWYG online LaTeX editor at http://www.codecogs.com/latex/eqneditor.php makes it easy to put beautifully-formatted mathematical formulas into your articles.
This is a re-write of bot_MimeTeX, using the CodeCogs.com server for much higher-quality output. In addition, JoomLaTeX optionally caches the formula image files locally to avoid hitting the LaTeX server limit. You can also apply numbers or labels to your equations and choose between png and gif rendering.
Excellent plugin, simple and effective.
Fast support.
Font face and font size are controlled in the TeX language itself. For font faces:
default = Times Roman
\fn_jvn = Verdana
\fn_cs = Comic Sans
\fn_cm = Computer Modern
\fn_phv = Helvetica
For sizes:
\tiny = 5 pt
\small = 9 pt
\normal (default) = 10 pt
\large = 12 pt
\LARGE = 18 pt
\huge = 20 pt
For outputting .png format. Just use the parameter output:png.
Thanks for this pretty work! Luc
