As others have posted, this version does not work properly with Joomla 2.5. My numerous posts to their forum for support were unanswered.
This component is great!!! It does exactly what it says and more!! And the support... it's probably the best I have had for any Joomla extention. I was uncomfortable with backing up the db and installing an update. they did for me in about 15 min, I really didn't have to ask. They offered to do it for me.

It is a good extension, but I am experiencing very slow performance, I have a good hosting and everything works fine except this extension, it takes about 45 second to load the location.
This component is great!!! It does exactly what it says and more!!
And the support... it's probably the best I have had for any Joomla extention. I needed a special feature for my site and the guys from Jlocate spent a whole afternoon getting it to work. The response on the forum is really fast and clear.

Although it could use a few more default features, this product works well. It's fairly priced and the support forum provides a few tweaks that should make it into the next upgrade.
One thing that would make it better is the ability to provide specific latitude and longitude because Google doesn't always place the stores where they really are.
If you are looking for a time saving, minimal fuss component, this qualifies. Buy it.
