Googlemaps Plugin

- Yes
Version 2.18 is the latest version. Now also support Joomla 3.0.
In Joomla 2.5/3.0 (1.6 and 1.7) the plugin can be upgraded automatically with the upgrade feature of Joomla at the extensions.
This is the last version where Google Maps API version 2 is supported because this Google Maps version 2 is deprecated from 19 May 2013. So please migrated to Google MAPS API version 3 (set the version to 3.x in the configuration of the plugin).
Also added language support for all the parameters: English, French, Italian and Spanish.
Please send me language files so I can add them to the plugin. Goto my website to contact me.
Look at the demo site first for documentation. If you've problems please do the checklist on the site: http://tech.reumer.net/Google-Maps/Documentation-of-plugin-Googlemap/checklist-placing-plugin-in-article.html
If this doesn't help or you have questions or new wishes please fill in the form on my website with an url that shows the problem and version of the plugin and Joomla.

(when editing article goto html view to remove returns or < br /> when you copy this example)

For those who want to place a GoogleMap on module position (that was my problem) the solution is placing it in an article and using the CustomContent Module (here following: Editing /Custom Code in Modules).
Also you can visit Mike Reumer's site and follow Documentation / Maps in components, modules & contact Joomla 1.5.x
Thanks Mike!
Me and my client both are happy with this module.
I specially like the very fast response from Mr Mike.
That is awesome.
I will recommended it for others.
Thanks And Regards
Manisha
The only trick I found was the map key google supplied for www.mysite.com did not work - instead I had to use the key for mysite.com (without the www.)
Other than that it took about 2 minutes from download to finished! That's rare with most extensions.
Thanks again Mike.
Highly recommended plugin for Google Maps with tons of variables to suit your needs. Best part is, its a plugin.
Thanks for the excellent Plug In. A great tool to work with, plus a quick e-mail response to a technical query.
Thanks,
Niall Kelly
Thanks for the great plugin. This is working very good in the articles. Can we use this plugin in the custom component? If yes can you say the process please?
Actually I have placed the code in my custom component (out of php code)as
{mosmap width='500'|height='400'|lat=''|lon=''|zoom='3'|zoomType='Large'|zoomNew='0'|mapType='Hybrid'|
showMaptype='1'|overview='0'|text='sv DWO'|lang=''}
Then I didn`t get any map there. Just it is displaying the code only PLease say is it possiable? or not?
Thanks.
