Map Locations is a Joomla extension that lets you show locations on a map. Add places from the admin interface, and show them on the front side Google map, with links lead to the place details.

You can then place the map in the site, either in a single page using the map component, or in another page, using the map module shipped with the extension.

You can customize the markers image and the size of the clusters generated when the map contains a lot of points.

Examples of what can it be used for:

- Show a map of your position in a module
- Show a list of cities where your business has an office
- Show a list of places your football team will play in

This is my first review, I created my login, just to write this. I was a bit hesistant to install a new extension without many reviews etc. Wow, I am glad I wenrt ahead and installed it. This is a must for every joomla qwebsite, very easy to install, no support required, but I did send them a quick query for advice to see how quick a response I got, well it took them under 30 minutes to reply, what a disgrace (lol). Cannot fault the extension or the staff behind it. A+++++

The component is great working fine for me in Joomla! 2,5 site. can be little bit problem for those who don't have php.ini access of the webserver, as it may require sometime to change that.
I have been using googlemaps plugin for many years and in many sites but with this component i think i can do the same kind of work with in very less time.
