It doesn't do much but it does what it does very well. No problem enabling, adding location markers, embedding in an article. The only issue was figuring out that the format was :lat:lon:HTML text

Once I had that figured out, it was 5 minutes to be functional.

It worked as expected and I've had no problems yet. I did forget to enable it at first so be sure to enable the module.

that's it.
do not expect anything fancy.
In the out of the box version you can only add 3 markers. the tooltip reads something like "Contact author to add more tooltips"
You wont find a demo, screenshots or documentation on the author's website.

This module works perfectly! The poster that said he couldn't make it work on two instances is wrong. I installed it and then put my API key in the module paramaters and published it and that was it! It was working.
I would be interested to know if the author is planning to bring out a component version?

Summary:
Good module google map app.
Simple to install and use.
Does what it says it will do.
Highly rated.

The module didn't work in two instances, different websites, after I changed the API code respectively.
