The credit for the original script once again goes to Henkka of nordicweather.net
The many flaws make the extension unusable as it returns false information that are misleading to a site visitor and that's not acceptable. Furthermore, contacting the developer resulted in no reply so I assume the project was cancelled at some point without a note.
But I want to close with a note on the potential of this: is a very slick presentation of weather forecast that needs some work to make it actually show the weather forecast (not just random data as it does it now).
The 'random data' is the weather information provided from yr.no based on the coordinates of your location. If the information provided is wrong then it is a problem with yr.no or the coordinates of the location as provided by Google's mapping api.
There is no support implied or offered for my free extensions.
Today, Tomorrow, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tomorrow, Wednesday, Thursday ...
Also, when setting the primary map location with the exact co-ordinates, the weather doesn't show for that day and only shows tomorrow and beyond weather conditions. If you enter your location into the list it shows Today's weather and then Tomorrow's, but if you don't you only get the weather for Tomorrow and beyond.
Also, when you set a city location it does not allow you to select the state or province thus forcing the use of city and country. I believe this leads to the 'Tomorrow' first in the list display without showing 'Today' first.
If this extension didn't do this it would probably be among the better ones out there, but these things really need to be fixed.
