In terms of everyone's problem with IE6, it's not JWeather's fault. A little research will show that you need to specify height and width for each icon. Just use your css classes and your good.

I tried 3 or 4 different weather modules and this was by far the easiest to install and configure... at first!

But then came the difficulty of having to format the content so that it was presentable. I had to choose to only set 3 days worth of data and then hard code the pixel length for each area and center everything. That was a little more than I had hoped for, but again overall the functionality is what I was looking for and once it was configured the way I wanted it works like a charm.

Good work.

It works like a charm when you learn how to configure it. It's not difficult, but for me, I'm still a newbie and getting to grips with Joomla and the extension didn't include any helpfile or manual.

I had to go to weather.com to retrieve my City's code and enter it into the module. Afterwards it worked perfectly.

It is a good and beautiful module!!

Id love it more if it didn't had problems with Internet explorer 6! (still 25%+ in browsers) The weather icons getting 3 times bigger and the module is stretching !!!

Bad it is a very good try! well done!

I have two jWeather modules on the same page displaying weather for two different cities, but the weather icons for one of the cities disapper when both modules are published (works fine when only one module is published).
Other than this I have had no problems and love this module. Keep up the good work!

Just installed this module and it works like it is supposed to. The only function problem is that there is no way to get the module ID suffix to work and there is no way to style this thing... Get that fixed and this will be a great module.

This is exactly what I was looking for. It gets it's data from weather.com, easy to install and works right out of the gate. I can't wait until all of the features are functional. Keep up the great work. I am eagerly awaiting future revisions. Thanks again!!!!

Nice little module - I had to unzip the files & FTP them & then Install From Directory to install it successfully (as the extension is 3meg with all the images)

To get the weather for you area follow the instructions at:

Hey great module. Nice job on the amount of options available. Believe it or not, this is exactly what I've been looking for and was one of the things left to complete my site. I know that this is a work in progress and certainly hope you keep up the good job, how about adding the name of the days or something like "current temperature" and stuff like that.

Great job.

I like the idea and the configuration possibilities more than any other weather module I have used.
The problem is that it only shows three icons for a three day forecast I'm guessing.
I grabbed the city code from weather.com.. which for me was USCA1054. When I ask it to display the temp or any other info nothing shows up... just three icons of the weather.
This module has potential to be the best weather module but its just not close to there yet... or maybe im just entering in the wrong city code.
When I put in incorrect information no icons or anything displays so I think I am doing it correctly.

Hi

the first version only was able to show the icons. Im still implementing all the other options. The version 0.2.0 shows more info. As soon as possible I will release another version implementing more functions.
