Constant Contact Signup Module

The Constant Contact Newsletter Sign-up Module makes it easy to allow visitors to subscribe to your Constant Contact newsletter mailing list. Simply install and enable the module, enter your Constant Contact client ID number and you're ready to go!

Additionally, all visitor facing display text is easily configurable on the module's configuration page.

This is a pretty straight forward item that works as it says. However, I think it would be much nicer if it there was an option in the parameters for you to ask the submitter for their first name and last name in two seperate fields so it would pass that info over to Constant Contact. Since those are two fields in the CC "Contacts" table, it would be nice to have the option to populate it if you want to do so.

Once again, another great offering from Trinitronic. Doesn't get any easier to install and implement than this. This is my second extension from them and I'm sure there will be more - as soon as I can find a place to use them. Keep up the great work!

It took a while to set it up since there's no clear documentation on how to retreive the Constant Contact ID. A chat with tech support over at CC led me to this FAQ:

Nice extension, thanks for your hard work. Please check the tags in your modules/mod_ccsignup/tmpl/default.php file. These are throwing html validation errors because of no closing slash. As an example, if you have not already done so, you might want to change these to .

This is a very simple extension that does just what it says. Very convenient!
There is a small css error in modules/mod_ccsignup/tmpl/default.php (style="margin-bottom:2")- it should be margin-bottom:2px. But that does not impact the usability in any way.
