Right now it is in an early stage of development, but it can correctly migrate simple sites.
Once you install it, you must follow these steps:
1. Configure the component into the preferences window
2. Import Authors
3. Import Sections (Rubriques)
4. Import Subsections (Subrubriques)
5. Import Articles
Currently the component import a lot of the SPIP stuff, but it may appear issues with SPIP shortcuts and so on, so please, we patient ;o).
Well, it is a little young actually (v0.2 beta) and you might have some small troubles sometimes, but the features are great and exactly what you need to migrate from SPIP to Joomla!
Actually, you can convert Rubriques, Articles and Authors to Joomla data tables.
Very nice, keep going to get it more stable, great works !
