Data Download Component

Data download is a simple extension for Joomla that allows admins to create queries and download datasets from any of their Joomla tables as CSV files.
The component has a simple back end interface and allows admins to control the file name and field labels.
The CSV downloads can be made directly from the admin interface or front end menu items can be created.
For the security of your data, the component uses a hashed key to identify the dataset.

This extension is just what I was looking for to quickly, and nearly seamlessly, merge events from three sites into one. You can save your query as an item, so you can use it again, and you can name it with a date, so you can archive your db tables locally. Furthermore the developer is right on top of things and responded immediately when I had trouble writing a query. Really useful, elegant extension.
