Extensions Migration

This component was made for retailers. It will import and export your products (not for downloadable products yet). If you have more than a few products then you know how much time it can take to edit a large number of products with a web interface. Using Zap CSV, you can download all of your products to a csv file and use the power of excel to manage your product data.

There are other csv utilities available and they are great components as well. Zap CSV has been made specifically for retail products and makes for a quick install and is very easy to use.

Fixed another bug and made it more robust.

Two requirements to mention.

The first is that you should load one product in to Virtuemart manually and then set up all of your categories and sub categories. Then, use the admin to create a download file and use that file as the template to upload your other products.

The second one is for people with over 1000 products... some servers have upload limits and if your upload times out, you should break the upload file in to smaller files like 1000 products per file.
