It's a great idea but it can no longer be used as it's not mootools 1.2 friendly. I see on their site that there are many messages some over 2 months old but still not working.
This is amazing. I was looking for a toolbar and the others were okay, but this one is great and looks attractive. Thanks so much for this! You guys rock.

Indeed, there are many ways to be creative with uBar. If there's something you'd like to share, or ask about, you can do it in the new forum ( http://j.l33p.com/forums ). You can also make suggestions or feature requests in the UserVoice forum ( http://ubar.uservoice.com ).

I just downloaded this extension and had it working in 5 minutes! it's so easy to use and looks so good ! i have a lot of parameters directly in the components settings and i directly see what i am doing - sooo cool :-)

I really love this extension, but i face a problem that the tool bar won't showed up in my frontpage, and also in all my articles page (article layout, blog category layout, etc) The toolbar seemed only works with component pages like kunena, cb, etc. Is it a bug or i just missed something? please let me know :)
I think this is things that we need to own nice website. However, I got Notice when i add module to toolbar in back-end. Notice: Undefined variable: x in \administrator\components\com_ubar\views\btn\tmpl\type.php on line 105 . i use XAMPP (Basispaket) version 1.7.1. Thank you very much

Aside from the below mentioned flash videos appearing above the toolbar (it looks a little wacky when that happens), this is an excellent package. Very customizable, very user-friendly.
This is one of the best components out there, highly recommended & customizable.

I found some a minor bug that would not let me load a module but I think it's because I am using an older version of Joomla.
NOTE: To add a bookmark feature to your bar:
1 Create a new button > "Other Link"
2 Point it to > http://www.addthis.com/bookmark.php
3 Page Target "Light Box"

i tried this extension a few days ago and can say that this is perfect. its a really Applied extension.
every things work good except in IE6.
i saw the special JS file for IE6 (bar.ie6.js2) and this maked me more confused!
i wish that this component have newer versions!

So far it is working flawlessly, the only thing is some flash items appear on top of the ubar when scrolling... I'm assuming that I can adjust the z-index to cure this.
Although we don't actually review or write comments on extensions; I have decided to instead register just to give you an excellent review.
The component/plugin works perfectly, and contains an easy-to-use interface. Well done!

I am a huge fan of this component! The author has built in lots of functionality, and I haven't seen a single problem with my uBar yet!
I'm not totally new to Joomla, but I'm certainly not a coder/developer, so I would love if the author could include even more example button pages on his site for those of us who haven't discovered all the potential uses for the bar.

I been looking for something like this for some time, easy, convienient, makes things a whole lot simpler. I'm having troubles with the gtranslate module translating the page because now it is able to do it without page reload, but besides that, its very impressive! Thanks for sharing! Cheers Josh Lewis.
