1. It can detect iPhone, Blackberry, Android and Opera Mini separately and load a particular template for each of them.
2. It has two extra spaces so you can add your own custom mobile devices.
3. You can adjust your final HTML code with simple/regular expression PHP replacements; this can be done independently for each particular device.
4. If none of the specific devices is detected (or you just have one template for all mobiles), the plug-in can also perform a general mobile detection and load a “generic” mobile template if configured accordingly.
This small plugin exactly does what it promises ant that is wonderull! Thanks.

This is a very good plugin and works exactly as planned.
I did however have one issue where the word nec in the HTTP_USER_AGENT list causes a problem in IE8. If someone has OfficeLiveConnector installed it matches the nec bit of Connector and serves the mobile template in IE8 rather than the default one. If you change nec to nec- it still works for those devices and serves the correct template in IE8. It would be a good idea to update the installer with this change.

This extension was easily installed and works great. I have an iphone and it comes up with the pictures without any problems. I think this will be very good for my website and all others, as so many people use their mobile phones for looking up websites and getting on the internet.

See a need, fill a need! You did just that with this plugin. Unlike the PDA-plugin for Joomla 1.5, yours has the functions of handling multiple, independent device or templates, and makes custom adjustments to the final HTML code based on the device detected. Mobilebot is hot! Thank you for a great plug-in!
Worked perfectly. A must-have installation to convert any of your joomla website to be viewable on a mobile browser. Thank you for creating this extension.
