Originally designed for industrial uses, QR codes have become common in consumer advertising. Typically, a smartphone is used as a QR-code scanner, displaying the code and converting it to some useful form (such as a standard URL for a website, thereby obviating the need for a user to type it manually into a web browser).
Requested Features by users Added to QRCode Elite extension:

I must say that though the extension is free of cost, the support provided by the developer is just outstanding. I ran into a small issue that was mostly to do with the cache settings and the developer was quick to answer and help. I did not really expect a reply considering that it was a free extension and was pleasantly surprised with the prompt support.
If you are considering an extension for QR codes, you should try this one out. I bet you will not be dissapointed :-)
I had noticed that the meta tags for the images were not showing, so I dropped the team a line to ask if they could consider it and within hours they had done it and emailed me the update, awesome!
