The functionallity of the component and the look are very nice...but unfortunatelly doesn't work. The background of component is disfunctional.
1. Not support Chinese characters for song name(I am not saying filename).
2. very complicated method to add new song.
3. No default album for the module, you have to manually load one.

I bought this module because I had great experiences with the J! 1.0 version, but this version is terrible! As other reviews mention there are problems in how to add songs to albums and as of right now I have owned this extension for a month and not been able to do this. I can upload the songs onto my server but when trying to add a song to an album the backend of joomla simply refreshes doing nothing.
I tried several times to contact the developer and my emails were ignored. For the relatively hefty pricetag this component does not deliver.

This extension is simply great and exactly what I am looking for. Very few(may be none) online mp3 players have the option of removing selected song(s) from playing album(s). We can add multiple albums to the playlist and remove selective unwanted songs from the playlist, this feature is really great and what I was looking for. Popup is another nice feature. One thing which I didn't like is the flash design of the player. I guess it could be much more beautiful if more nice skins are developed. I am going to buy this, hoping new skins will be released in the future. Great Work

I have spent, say 15mn trying to figure out how this *** thing works. Actually, one must know that they must copy files into /modules/mp3_player folder to have the files recognized by the software.
Once installed, album created and songs added, it just works GREAT! Nice peace of sotware (design, functionality, nothing to say).
I think there is just a problem with organisation of files. All files must be in same directory, this means that if you want to organise files, you must rename them first before uploading (or afterwards via FTP or your file manager).

Very nice MP3 player : very beautifull and easy to set up.
It fit easyly in the page, you can adjust the color (very good idea) and the user can pop up the player :GREAT functions. Album & songs work pretty good.
Just a big problem for me (but maybe i havent seen the function ? tell me if, i would be happy) : The player does not start automatically when user load page. user have to click on '+' to load an album, and then to click "play" to start it.

I've tried this on two different Joomla-1.5.2 sites, and it just doesn't work. The back-end simply will not create an album, and without an album, you can't do anything else. There doesn't seem to be anyone home at the site if you make a help request, and there is no user forum to go for help. Too bad, because it looks nice.
