I've been using this plugin for more than a year. Now, I've implemented it for my new Joomla 3.1.5 site. Easy to input a mp3 player in between texts in articles is helping for audio illustration in my educational websites.

However, one suggestion to the developer is that if there would be an option to change the color style, it could be even better.

If I had remembered to enable the plugin, it would have been quite quick to set up. The programming has not fault in that.

This is a very simple, relatively unobtrusive way to put audio in your articles. Simplicity is GOOD!.

This is a bare bones audio player. I use it on a client's website who has longer articles with multiple mp3 examples throughout. For my purposes, only a small player such as this would work, otherwise the articles would become too bulky. While not very configurable and limited, this player does what it is supposed to - no less and no more. If you need a stable, reliable and easy to use player, this will do nicely. Recommended.

Just a single comment. No problem when installing. Works perfectly on Joomla 2.5. An attractive look (simple and discrete as anyone could expect).
Thanks for this plugin

Very good and visually slim player.
The only issue : no way to get it play a list.
The xml is well formatted as explained, the track title and all the tags of the mp3's are displayed (so the path to files is ok) but no way...

I love this plugin, except that it doesn't appear when I use my I-phone to view my site. I wonder if it is not compatible with mobile technologies.

It works finje in internet explorer but not in other browsers. Is there a reason for?
The program is really good, and I have a lot of fun that it's working.

you want to use it in a content?

Just take it, works fine and is easy to be installed, even in J1.7.3

It only lacks, if you want to use it inside a custom module with the attribute "prepare content" active. There it will show up even correctly , read the xml correctly and show titles and that it is playing correctly, but you will not hear the music.

Some hint for you, infograf: If i open additionally a content (with this player) and start/stop playing a song there, then the custom module player will work from that moment on until i leave the content page.

Of course, I would appreciate it, if this works too ;-)

Better talk about this in the Support forum (link above).

Anyhow I do confirm the issue when the custom module is assigned to a sub-menu when using some specific 3pd extension menu module .
Here I got the issue with ARI Ext Menu. It looks like the js used is the culprit.
Please test on a parent menu item.

I wanted to add my image, text and links to go with the Mp3 player, and have multiple Mp3's on the same page.

This plugin made it so easy, just paste the code with the root/mp3 file and that's it. It's small, clean and simple. Brilliant.

there are 1000s mp3-players for Joomla, but this one does just, what I wanted to do: Play one mp3-File on these sites, I choosed. Using absolut URL's it's my favourite choice!

I looked for a plugin to insert a few short mp3's into article. They needed to be in different places (after some words about track). And this plugin is the only plugin that plays them without bugs.
One of plugins in JED plays only first mp3 in each player inserted, second plugin cannot insert more than 3-4 players... And finally i found this simple, but useful plugin!
Thanks so much!

Thank you for this good simple plugin. It works well for 128kbps mp3 audio but the .swf file cannot play 24 kbps mp3 audio.

Great plug-in and really easy to install, if one simply follows the steps. Below are the steps.

copy the code, for example in one of your articles or stories, and paste on the page. That is it. Name the mp3 song according to how you stored in the folder, in this case, media/images/stories/audio/music1.mp3. that is it, folks.

Installed in seconds. Documentation was eXcellent (appears after the install, and when configuring)! Ability to have as many "players" in an article, and each can be either single or multiple songs is very convenient. My kudos to the author for a mighty-fine product. Suggestion: a nice little button in the editor to "Add Player" that added the appropriate tags (and THANK YOU for not making us actually edit the raw HTML!) would be an improvement.
