ARI Sexy Lightbox is Joomla! lightbox module which provides possibility to show image galleries, Flickr galleries, Picasa albums, Joomla! articles and modules, external pages, HTML content, YouTube and Vimeo video, Flash files (SWF and FLV) in sexy popup.
Main features:
* Contains module with user friendly interface and plugins which provides ability to use the lightbox in any Joomla! content;

I was looking for a lightbox plugin for joomla 1.6 that can be used anywhere in the site, even inside the slider I had on the frontpage. Fortunately I found the ARI Sexy lightbox and it worked immediately. I had a few extra wishes and the guys at ARIsoft responded immediately every time, it seemed like chatting! :) They even logged on to my site and did some customizations to play HD Youtube content in a smaller window and fixed some interaction between the background slider and the movie. My site is great now and I highly recommand this product, and I havent even found out what else it can do!

As far as I can tell, this is a very good product, well worth the money. And the support is at least as good. I purchased ARI Sexy Lightbox to use it together with a slideshow extension, produced by another manufacturer. However, the two failed to work together. I contacted the ARI support; they responded instantly and after a few emails they had a solution for my problem. I’m really impressed, and like many others before me I would like to give ARI my warmest recommendations.
It does not have like the joy to know that still gratuitous tools and of so good quality are encuntran, the support of first and plugin works of wonder thanks ari-soft

I recently purchased this package for a client and on installation it worked fine except that I noticed that the effect was applied to every image on the site even though I had not applied the effect to them. I emailed the developers and within 5 minutes received an explanation that the Lightbox was applied by the plugin to every image on the site that had a width or height modification made to it. On explaining that this was not I expected they created a new version overnight for me that would only be applied to those images that had a class attached to them which made it perfect for my application. The package is excellent and the service was outstanding, I would recommend this package to anyone looking for an easy to use and comprehensive lightbox for their site.
I purchased the full commercial version (for Joomla 1.5) mainly because I wanted the plugin, which is not included in the Lite version. Both the module and the plugin installed seamlessly and work well.
I used the carousel option which is very impressive.
The only issues I had were around understanding the plugin parameters, but the excellent and very fast support soon put me on the right track.
There is a case for drawing together all the instructions and details of the various parameters in to a single, easy-to-find location - although I understand this is currently being done.
This is an excellent extension in my opinion and deserves to be widely used. The support is also second to none!

I first used the Carousel and then the ARI SEXY Lightbox. The carousel installed very easy. I had some problems in installing and using the Sexy Lightbox though. But with all the fast and friendly support from ARI Soft I could solve all my problems very easy. Indeed there were no problems - I was doing wrong. Now Module and Plug-In are working properly and according to what I orgininally wanted. I like it!
'ARI Sexy Lightbox' does 'what says on the can'. It is an excellent lightbox.
The modest asking price provides plentiful support. ARI Soft answer every post on their forum quickly, as they do when emailed directly. If you have a problem, they'll help you to solve it, or even update their software if warranted! Like others I've reviewed, they are professional, and provide a superlative service.

It's a godd extension, except when you want to add descriptions to the photos. I still can't found the way to put more than one line, and the process of adding the photo descriptions using a CSV file is not very good. I've tried several times, and still can't see the descriptions in the photos. The back end is also a bit confused. It's a pity.

Thank you for the review. The extension is used CSV files because CSV file has simple format and new fields can be added easily to CSV file and be shown by the extension. This extension just works! Integrated seamlessly with my site. I had a query about getting a link working and the reply was really quick with the problem sorted straight away. To be honest the small fee for this extension is definitely worth it just for the support and the peace of mind knowing that it will work and look great at the same time!

I have been looking for a lightbox that can display anything and at last I found ARI. My first use was for a form to display in a lightbox. The documentation didn't give me the option to click on an image and then have a lightbox open with a form.
After digging around the forum alittle I found the solution but the lightbox didn't close upon submision of the form. I posted a request on the forum and the ARI team soon emailed me the solution for my specific situation.
Well done and thanks for a great extension. It's not free but very worth the small cost.

While looking through the JED for components for a new and easy to use lightbox solution. I came across ARI soft's sexy lightbox. provocative name aside this is a brilliant and extremely versitile component. The only trouble I had was adding the lightbox to one menu item (my knowledge of CSS selectors is pretty limited) I contacted support and the issue was resolved almost imediately! (no joke it took about 5 minutes to be up n running) I am also using their flipbook module which is also brilliant and their software has allowed me to make a fully ios compliant animated website. Great work ARI soft THANKS!
I'm with Yoda below. I just installed the feature rich Sexy Lightbox. Their products are 5 stars/support even more.
Everything worked great, but I struggled to remove the scroll bars from the pop-up lightbox. My template css was conflicting with the lightbox css. I left a forum post on a Saturday, thinking I would get an answer later next week.
Within 24 hours - on a Sunday no less - they answered my post with a simple rule to add to my template css to remove the conflict. Outstanding support.

I have used this extension for use in modules for both image gallerys as popups for business info. Works great!
This is a great extension with a lot of detailed instructions and great tech support. I posted a problem on the forum on a sunday! and got a respons within 10 minutes... Unheared of!
