Features:
- Can display photos from local folder
- Supports multiple galleries on the page
- Can use folder path to build gallery from images in the folder/can use use path to thumbnails
- Thumbnails can be taken from specific folder or generated by changing image dimensions with saving aspect ratio. Thumbnails can be resized, cropped, cropped & resized to fit your needs. Thumbnails can be rotated
- Can show single thumbnail which when clicked will show full gallery
- Can show specified number of images from local folder
The front-end looks good and I think it's a plus that the extension is free. However, the very small next and prev buttons make it extremely hard to work with; not only on desktop computers, but also for tablets and touch screens.
Moreover, almost everyone is nowadays used to clicking on the picture to go to the next (or click on the left side to go to previous picture). Therefore, any gallery extension like this should definitely consider having this feature.
So, if this extension had BIG buttons, more space between them, and could be navigable through clicking on the images, I would use it. But now, I leave it for the next update!
