- This extension requires registration to download.
- Categories Manager : category for music type, example : country, jazz, rock, ....
- Playlists(album) Manager : this is function for music playlist or music album, you can add songs to playlist or album,you can mark playlist is featured and featured playlists always at top of list page.
- Files Manager : manage music file, jms music support 2 types for multifile upload: flash upload and php upload - Artists Manager : Manage artists
- Songs Manager : after upload files you can create song, a song has following info : name, file,user upload, category,playlist,artist,author,description,lyric,created date, modified date, view,bit rate,... You can easy to assign and unassign file with songs,file after assign to song will be store in folder with same name of playlist.
- Aprrove & Update for Songs is uploaded by users on frontend
- Song comments Manager : manage comment for songs
- Playlist comments Manager : manage comment for playlists
- Song rating Manager : manage rating for songs
- Playlist rating Manager : manage rating for playlists
- Configuration : set settings for component
B.Frontend function
On frontend jms music support following layout :
- All Playlist: list all playlist(album),the featured playlist always at top of this list and there is label for make it highlight.
- Single Playlist : info about a playlist and list all songs in that playlist, use can listen songs with small player beside song name and more info about songs.
- All Categories : List all Categories
- Single Category : List info of a category and all song of that category, use can listen songs with small player beside song name and more info about songs.
- Playall : Play all songs in a playlist(album) in a player with list of songs.
- Favourite Songs : You can add or remove songs in your favourite list, and play your favourite list with player
- Upload songs : You can upload songs and wait for your songs is approved and update by admin, when your song is approved there is an email sent to your email.
- Search : use search module and you search follow songs or search follow playlist, there are more option for search function
- Playlist Module : Use playlist module you can list top playlist following : featured,lastest, popular option.

I have purchased this component because it was exactly what I was looking for. But this component does not work as described in it's description.I have looked for help on their forum and it seems that there are quite a few people that have the same troubles I have but there are no replies to fix the problem. I have seen replies to fix some problems the reply is they wish to get your super admin login information so that the can correct the problem. I do not give this information out and I had asked them to send me the most common problems and I will check it myself in they have never replied back to me. I would look for something else to accomplish this task that this component says it will just to save your money.
I bought this module and it looked pretty good for my needs, but when you need some support it takes them generally 2 weeks to respond, IF they respond! And
it's very hard to find documentation on this module, so I don't see the point anymore using this although You expect a bit more support for $25....

Poor support, can't get a hold of the developer. Posting on the site gets no answers. E-mail gets no response. Selling a 45$ broken product here that is a one time e-mail link, no updates. Stay away unless you want to do the updating yourself. Should not have to fix code that should already be functional as advertised.
Great component for creating an audio library, easy to install and use but with one basic problem, the configuration menu (settings) is simple and does not cover all the aspects which the software supports. Hopefully the next version will contain much wider setting menu to allow you more control over the software. Having said that they have great and friendly support which help you quickly to meet your needs.

I bought this extension feeling from what they advertise it was going to be a good component to use with my music but I was sadly disappointed as all the music files are dumped into one big directory and if you have a lot of songs it makes a real mess and it's very hard to keep track of.
For support they were quick to respond but more or less said they were not aiming to fix the problem of not being able to adopt music from different sub directories but I could write an amendment to it if I wish. Just poor management. Not worth the 25 bucks.
