Also, the title " simple " is deceptive. Everything looks great as far as customization, etc. Except for one basic thing: there is no simple direction for beginners to know where to upload the mp3 files.
The " helpful hint " assumed that the user already knows where the files are for a " relative directory ".
When I searched for " relative directory " ... both within the joomla website, and externally through search engine, I found nothing to be of any help in explaining.
I will be searching for a " simple " player, hopefully as a plugin, and with " simple directions " for how to upload the mp3 file.
Hav bought a subscription for 12 months for all components and looking forward to see all components and the supoprt working that fine.
The only problem I've got is that the extension doesn't run if I want to display multiple players on a page (e.g. a blog in which every article has implemented an own player).
I've already contacted the support team and they were responding very fast (so that's the good thing about the support) but they couldn't really help me because I can't upload the extension to the productive environment, as long as it doesn't work the way I need it. But they told me they can't help me in another way...that was a bit sad because I've hoped that they would try it on their environment and probably could give me a solution because it's quite easy to reproduce the error.
Maybe the announced update will fix it, I don't know?
Anyway, all in all I'm satisfied with the extension and I'd say 35 Euro is a fair price for it. And if I use it with only one instance per side it works great.
Admittedly, I would have been happier with a plugin but the features of this player in a module form are probably the best you can find.
The player is great and the support is even better. This player is well worth the small purchase price.
I use it multiple time on the same page and it works exactly as described. Well done to the developer!
