The hiccup I experienced was adjusting the width of the HTML 5 player, for which ProJoom gave me a simple CSS workaround.
Rumor has it that the next rev will have greater HTML 5 configuration control.
Well worth the purchase!
The Flash version has a slew of configuration options. The HTML5 version was HIGHLY configurable through CSS styling, although I understand that the developer is going to be adding more configuration options in the plugin itself.
And a few words about the developer... *amazingly* responsive. I had several questions for my particular needs and he was always right there with a ready answer or, in one case, fix on their end. This type of attentiveness and care alone makes the plugin more than worth the cost.
Another valuable aspect to this plugin for me was that you can place the audio player in a module or anywhere else (article, your own PHP code) using curly brace substitutions. (Note that if you include it this way in your own PHP code that you'll need to run the {nmap} text through the content plugins so that it is translated into the widget, for example: $content = JHTML::_('content.prepare', $content);). This was another valuable insight from ProJoom's tech support).
All-in-all I'm very pleased with the audio player and my experience with ProJoom's support!

I'm hoping though that it would support other audio formats as well beside mp3, to be able to play music on mobile browsers, i.e. iPhone safari doesn't play mp3 files.

This is the 3rd extension I have purchased from Projoom and as with the others, it is a high quality, functional product that does the job perfectly with style and simplicity and a major plus in my book is that their support is prompt, friendly and professional.

This player is looking great and works smooth.
ID3 tags works great.
My contact with support has been gentle and nice.
It got a good lot of features.
Cons:
The manual (or lack of) is somehow messy and confusing.
This product can do a lot, but it's not clear how to make it do it.
Worst is that if ( as in my case) you need two or more players at same site (plugin), starting second player don't stop first player!
That is certanly not a "pro" player to me.
Contacted support about this several times several months ago (right after april 2012 update) but no update on this (to me) very important lack.
Another user wrote that this is the best for musicians to use - I can't join on that one.
Starting two players will leave costumers very confused.
As HTML5 is not supported either I guess I need to find another player even I like this one very much :(

I remember we've exchanged a few emails regarding the features and documentation provided for this product.
The "manual" is not messy at all. It contains a video guide, 7'30" long, which explains step by step how to configure and use this extension. Additionally, you can check a separate page with written details about each option, described as best as possible. Of course, there many ways you can configure and use the player, but that's what the user should take care of, or contact us for suggestions and help.
The feature you mention our player is lacking (stop player 1 if player 2 started) was NOT advertised and I believe all other players will behave the same as ours. I can't see why you consider it a minus. I wish my iPhone would render flash, but I knew it wasn't possible when I've ordered it.
All good features already implemented are a result of others' suggestions, requests, etc.
As for HTML5 support, it's being added in the next version. Please check back soon. :)
Projoom player is realy excellent for this purpose!
It is possible to insert it in a text or table toghether with Pdf-files and other educational material.
I created a list/table with weekly lessons with multiple pop-up(icon) players, one for every lesson, in a table in front-end mode!
It is even possible to change icons and use my own!!
If I could ask for future changes it would be to be able to use this plugin with Ipone (without flash)
It is pretty Obvious situation, and I do not understand, why developer just left this untouched…
2. Almost no support from the developer.
PS: I purchased this extension, but now I have to study Java programming in order to fix this stupid issue….
We're sorry to see that you are having a problem with our product. Please allow me to explain :
1. Currently, we do not have any customers that uses or wants to use the pop-up version of the player to open more than once instance. It makes no sense having 2 or more players playing at the same time. Of course, by request this can be done, but we have not received a feature request from you. Your complaint is about something that's not part of the advertised features.
2. That's not true. You've asked us to help you create an "auto pop-up" function that will launch the player after entering the page with the published player automatically. I've sent you the javascript code and instructions on how to use it and have also warned you about the problems this might imply, 48 hours ago.
I'm sorry to see that your feedback is based on buyers remorse for something that is not supported.

It plays the music like it should do and all features are working.
While creating a website I realized a problem:
If you put 2 modules of the player at one site (one beneath the other)there was a problem at the frontend uploader: if each module has got different and separate upload folders (you can set them at the advanced parameters in the backend) this was not working. At the frontend both modules showed you only one (the same folder) to upload.
After contacting the service of projoom they reacted very fast, professional and kindly.
Today they updated a new version of the player (1.3.4) and the problem is solved.
