I am hesitant to be negative about this player as it is a reliable, easy to use, free product. I was using this player as a gallery for my longer mp3's on my record label's site. I found that the player's controls are too small and picky. It would be nice to have the option of larger text and larger controls in the player. When there are only 3 songs in this player, it looks quite barren. I think that this player is more effective on smaller devices instead of laptops and desktops.
Despite this, I still like the product and found it a breeze to work with. It will fit the bill for most, but is too limited for a record label.

I was tasked with migrating a 1.5 site to 2.5, and one spot I hit a snag was an mp3 player module with playlist and controls. The extension was not updated for 2.5 compatibility, so I was on the hunt.
I found this module and it is a perfect (and better?) replacement. Really easy to customize the appearance and has all the features I needed. Nice to know about for future needs and best of all, it's free! Thanks!

I've tried with several music players for background purpose and itS stop working after some time and lost lot of time trying to fix that. but THIS MODUL IS FANTASTIC. Works and works. Thx guys. You have done fantastic job. Recommend to everyone!
I have just installed this mp3 player module without any issues. When I checked the parameters, it has a lots of options which means you can easily customize almost every aspect of the mp3 player from the way it looks to the buttons and playlists and the best part..is it's free! Very powerful extension in my opinion.
Just perfect for what I needed!
Downloaded, installed and got it going in under 10 minutes. Would have been sooner except for operator error - it helps if you enter the correct info into playlist.txt!

Does what its supposed to do and still incorporates quite some tweaking possibilities.
Had it up and running in less then 5 minutes.

The player is good - but not great due to the following:
- The player is only a module, and not a plugin. Make it a plugin and you get the 5 stars.
- The player is not designed to do radio streaming, although the authors do make an attempt to detail how to put a streaming file into the playlist. Unfortunately the explanation is very poor. Ideally the player should just read a url and port (like "http://65.60.49.202:9682/") the way Winamp does.
After struggling for hours I finally got a configuration that will allow streaming radio. Take the URL given above, and in the playlist file enter the following:
http://65.60.49.202:9682/;stream/1|The Micro Effect
Viola - now you have a streaming radio.
To the guys at medienstroeme.de - do these fixes and you will have one of the best players. Just cannot believe that you guys haven't figured this out yet!
