AvReloaded

A serious SQL injection vulnerability was just found in AllVideos Reloaded! A zero-day exploit already exists in the wild, which uses this vulnerability in order to steal your user-database!
All users of version 1.2.6 and below, update to version 1.2.7 immediately!
For those who want to keep their database of customized players/tags/rippers, use the package named com_avreloaded-1.2.7_SECUPDATE-WITHOUT-DB.zip and simply install it over the existing version using Joomla's extension installer. All other users: Use the regular (full) installer package.
AllVideos Reloaded is a fork of the famous AllVideos plugin, natively developed for Joomla! 1.5 and vastly enhanced with lots of invidually tunable parameters. In addition, all parameters (and more) can be individually overridden in each media tag. Internals have been redesigned completely.
Version 1.2.6 now available which just another fix for tracker item #16034.
Just released version 1.2.5 which fixes the following
problems:
- Installation issue with Joomla 1.5.10 API changes.
- Error when selecting the toplevel component menu in
the backend.
Another maintenance release 1.2.4 is now avilable
Changes/Fixes:
- DB Tables were not installed on Systems with MySQL < 4.1
leading to Error "500 Tag definition invalid or not found"
- Moved avrmodal.css and closebox.gif from backend component
to plugin in order to avoid access problems with protected
backends.
- Updated/Added spanish translation.
- Made link to documentation more prominent.
- Fixed API for thirdparty access of the "AVR Button".
Another maintenance release 1.2.3 is now avilable
This Release fixes the following problems:
- Media did not display in fireboard.
- The AVR System-Plugin did not install properly.
- Embedding big flash animations could lead to temporary
display of the builtin Flash warning, even if there was
no problem with Flash.
New Features:
- YouTube media embedded with youtubejw now shows the
preview image from YouTube automatically.
- YouTube URLs of localized sites now are recognized
in the "AVR Media" Dialog.
AllVideos Reloaded 1.2.2 has just been released as a maintenance release, fixing several incompatibilities with PHP4 that were introduced in 1.2. plus a packaging problem (ZIP) that appeared in 1.2.1
Sorry PHP4-users, for the inconvenience!

It's amazing! And thank you Fritz for your every effort!
I have a small problem when using it: The video and audio can works perfectly in normal pages, but when I publish them in my blog(view from blog type), the player can't show up normally, but show the tags that I put in the contect of the article. For example, it exactly show as "{audio}images/mp3/201-The Change Inside of Me.mp3{/audio}", not a player. I don't know it's the problem of blog, or the plugin!
I just love it!
This is neither a bug in AVR nor in your blog. Instead, it is a restriction of the method how content plugins are handled in Joomla 1.5:
Content-plugins are invoked *only* for *regular* content, not for content in "other" modules. In order to overcome this restriction, AVR provides a programming API which can be used by authors of other modules to enable that functionality. The API is documented on the Demo site.
Thank you!
I don't think it shows on Macs either.
Well, it does here. I have tested it with IE6, IE7 (the next version even with IE8beta), FF and Opera. This might be some problem with your Flash-ActiveX installation. Visit the support forum and I might be able to help.
I was looking for a videplayer wich can plays local content and youtube vids too and wich is compatible with J! 1.5
Now I was looking for a J! 1.5 compatible mp3 player wich can show playlist and this module/plugin can do that.
You can forget advanced mp3 and all the others.(video players too)
I love it.
Thanks to the developer(s)!
Great work!!!
After banging my head against the wall for several days while trying to get other video player(s) to work, I found this by way of a frustrated search while looking for a solution to the other player(s) I've been trying to get working.
Read the docs, installed, and it works.
Does what it says it does, and best of all, someone actually took the time to write some decent documentation for this.
5 stars. Keep up the great work.
Oh, and get this! It says it works on J! 1.5.x, and guess what.... it really does! NO Legacy mode!
Finally- some truth in advertising!
First:
Apologies for not testing under IE6 - I simply don't have one anymore.
However: Now I've set up a fresh VirtualBox VM with win2ksp4+ie6sp1+flash-9.0.115.0 and guess what: It worked out of the box (no security tweaks in IE6)! Screenshot can be seen at http://www.fritz-elfert.de/avr-ie6.gif
The only glitch, I noticed, was: If flash is *not* installed (or outdated), the AutoInstaller does not show in IE6. Trying YouTube, it didn't show either BTW.
Conclusion: There must be some security setting on your machine or something similar preventing you to view flash videos properly.

We had been waiting for a long time to see such a plugin. Thanks to the author.
