Designed as a module the JXTC Videoshow can be used virtually anywhere on your site. So fluid and simple, you can be up and broadcasting in a matter of minutes.
JXTC Videoshow module is a full feature Flash web-based video player that includes smoothing, fading, keyboard shortcuts, mouse delay events, fullscreen mode, video resizing (fitscreen or original dimension), captioning the next video and more!
The standout feature of the Videoshow module is it's continuous playmode allowing for Non Stop play of H.264 (.flv, .mp4, .m4a, .mov) format videos. Perfect for broadcasting your own online Video Show or Video Network. The simple playlist structure allows for auto playlist generation by simply adding FLV's to the playlist folder folder via FTP or the Joomla media manager.
Unlimited playlists can be generated for an unlimited amount of players.
Up to 7 channels / playlists are available per player with user selection Window.
User and Admin control of Playlist by Name, Latest, or Random Display.
The auto title feature takes the name of the file and thumbnail and displays it in classic music video style at the start of each video.
You can also assign a graphic tag to the bottom left of each video giving you multiple logos per playlist/channel or prime ad space, as well as a fixed logo position on the bottom left of the player!

Autoplay: On or Off / Random, Alpha, or Latest playlist display

They took my money and never responded. Their site doesn't work properly. I submitted two trouble tickets using their system as well as a generic email. 2checkout tried to get them to respond (their payment processor), and they failed to respond. I should have paid attention to the previous reviews complaining about this company. FIND ANOTHER SOURCE!

From an aesthetic point of view this is perfect for what i am looking for. It's so simply and elegant. It's would be worth the money if it functioned the way it's supposed to. This video player seems to be quite buggy and i don't recomend it.

The player is bug free and works fine - If you submit a support ticket we can solve your issue.
I like the features of this extension but the developer offers very little help if you have problems getting it to work. There is only one poorly written install instruction guide. And it did not do well to help me install it. I later found out that JoomlaXTC really prefers that you subscribe as a member to get the help you will need. I have tried to contact the developer but did not get a reply. huh? So, FREE extensions are much more user-friendly at this stage of development. Lesson-learned and savings earned! Know your stuff before purchasing... is my advice.

It's rare that I find a commercial extension that is worth the investment. In this case, under $13.00 for a truly professional implementation of a streaming video module that does nearly everything I could possibly want. Lightbox video/popup/module/fullscreen/thumbnails/custom logos/watermarks and much more. Even little things like being able to render the module in an auto-start or stopped state sets this apart from most of the free ones. You can even set custom popup launch buttons as well. I've embedded the module in articles, in other modules such as accordions and slider menus, and more, with complete success. You can also have multiple playlists in XML or just have it play anything in a particular directory.
