You can enter a Youtube or Vimeo video ID into the backend and fill out the relevant fields to create a list of videos which can also be categorised should you want. This allows you to have the ability to stream videos from your web site but have all the video streaming done by Youtube and Vimeo rather than your hosting server, greatly reducing bandwidth requirements.
TTVideo also offers its own AJAX rating system for videos and multiple fields to store information pertaining to each video.

It has language file which makes the translation to other Languages very difficult and tiresome: (
Would examine place a file en-GB.ini so can be translated, instead of PHP.

Really good component, but I'm sorry I updated it from 1.0 because it's not working anymore. I sent an e-mail with the problem to the developer and didn't get an answer so far. My website has a broken video gallery for a few days by now.
Jasmin, your problem is sef rewriting or any sef settings.
it seems to me that the ttv video extension is not optimized to work with sef url redirect and for that reason can't find your videos
if u resest your joomla settings -ie sef url redirect , etc, it will work
it will be great if those guys from tomato england will fix it.
i love it personally and look forward for a fix.
ps i didnt test it with sef404. maybe somebody can give us a feed back on it.

Hi this is a good extension of joomla and its beauty is that it is free, thanks for that great effort, i have a problem when i click on the video it give following error "Call to undefined method TTVideoViewCategories::displayVideo() in /home/portalhu/public_html/site/components/com_ttvideo/ttvideoController.php on line 49"

It is not very often that a free Joomla extension has all of the following attributes... easy to use, works bug free, clean code. As a developer it makes my life so much easier to have an extension I can rely to to meet my clients needs, this did it. Though I did not like the default views it came with I easily wrote 2 new custom views in about 20 minutes. GREAT GREAT EXTENSION to see the potential this thing has check out thesessions.com.
