Tabs

With Tabs you can make content tabs anywhere in Joomla!
The syntax simply looks like:
{tab Tab Title 1}
Your text...
{tab Tab Title 2}
Your text...
{/tabs}
To make links to certain tabs in your page, you can use Tab Links, like:
{tablink Tab Title 2}Link text{/tablink}
And many more cool features :)

I've now used it many times and I just love the fact that it's basically a simple list. Why is that good? Because I can style it any way I like. Also, it fails gracefully to a simple layout with h2 tags.
Peter thinks of everything and executes it perfectly.
Oh... and can you all please do me a favour? Please, please, please purchase a full licence from Peter, so he can continue to create these awesome extensions. I can't imagine trying to build high quality sites without his extensions.
Don't think... just but an subscription and download.
I had not problems at all. Just install it and use it. Simply to use. I recommend this to everybody. Many kudos to the developer. Thanks for sharing.
I needed a good tab extension to better organize the content on one of my client's web pages and this program fit the bill quite nicely. An added bonus was the ability to nest tabs within the master tabs.
I haven't paid for a subscription; I'm just trying out a couple of their extensions to see how I like them at this point. So far I am very impressed with the quality of their extensions AND their support.
I ran into a snag with using the nested tabs feature so I posted to the forum... I had an answer within a day or two, and the developer even went above and beyond to add some extra tips I wasn't even expecting!
My biggest frustration with developers of Joomla extensions is non-existent or VERY poor support, even when I've paid for a subscription to GET support. These guys don't charge for support of their free extensions and the program works great!
I'm looking forward to experimenting with their other extensions after this initial experience.
Tabber very quickly became my favorite extension for all tab-like instances. Like other NoNumber extensions, Tabber is so easy to use -- it's elegant and very capable.
Tabber lets you to add tabbed areas right inside any Joomla article or custom HTML module. Of course, there are times when you want your tab extension to be category-based, but there are times when you want to just add the text or images, or whatever you want, right in the article, and that's when you want Tabber.
The developer has even created a very convenient editor button so you can click and insert the tab code, then begin working on it.
The NoNumber forum is very active, and the developer is friendly and accessible.
What a great job!!
One note: As with other NoNumber extensions, Tabber is not full of special transition effects. You have to add those yourself, but that's part of what makes it so good in my opinion.
I've tried others plugins always with issue but Tabber works perfectly and the appearance is customizable with css file. This one is the best way of organizing your articles and avoiding long scroll bars when you manage a lot of information in a page.
Tabber was ready to go in no time. Plug was even enabled after install by default. (nice little touch in my opinion.)
The editor button is quite useful too, saves time memorizing the syntax or having to copy paste it all the time.
The .CSS is easy to read and edit. Some elements I feel are a bit outdated as far as CSS formating goes but I suppose that is a personal preference.
It always makes me happy when I come across a well designed and functioning extension and this is one of the best in it's category.
Great job devs and thank you for sharing!
Thank you very much for your positive words :)
Please contact me on the CSS stuff you think can use some un-outdating. Always interested in improving code...
Please try the NoNumber! Extension Manager (http://www.nonumber.nl/extensions/nonumbermanager).
Then you can select multiple NoNumber! extensions and install them in one go.
It is also very handy for updating versions :)
