I have been looking for something similar to SectionEx for J 2.5, as so far, it works only for J 1.5. The only plugin I could find was SectionList. And I’m very surprised, it is a great plugin, very easy to configure and works perfectly the way it should. And now even sort options are there! Thanks to the developer Andreas Thul a lot for this valuable plugin and for the very quick and very helpful support!
Extension installed and worked out of the box. One minor issue is that it seems you can only embed one plugin command in a page, i.e. you cannot include 2 independent categories on the same page.
